IT’S ANOTHER GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY THAT YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO MISS!!
On Thursday, 20th Sep, 2018 (10th Muharram 1440H) will be ‘Ashura’ which is among the important dates in the Islamic calendar. It marks the day when Allah (S.W.T) through Musa (A.S) delivered the children of Israel from Fira’un. As taught by the prophet (PBUH) Muslims are supposed to fast as a show of thanksgiving to Allah (S.W.T).This is in accordance to the hadith:
The prophet was asked about the benefits of fasting on ASHURA, he said “It erases the sins of the previous year” reported by Al imam Muslim.
Let’s not lose this chance to fast during that day so that we are counted among those whose previous year sins will be forgiven .Forget not to spread the good tidings to family and friends .
NB: IT IS MUSTAHAB (ENCOURAGED) TO FAST ON 9TH And 10th ALTHOUGH YOU CAN AS WELL FAST ONLY ON 10TH.
